Pros: The application comes as two separate modules, one the label editor and the other is a label printer. Label Spirit can create professional barcode labels for all your labeling and printing needs. It provides a wide variety of powerful, yet easy to use tools. Any size label can be created that contains text, shapes and images. Data to be printed on the label can come from several different sources. The data sheet lets you generate sequences of data freely, and you can import data from any database through ADO or ODBC connections. Furthermore, Label Spirit supports variables and functions that can be combined with data from many different sources and advanced math, string, and logical functions can operate on that to define the data to be used.

The label editor that comes with the application lets you move, resize and modify objects on the labels. The label editor has all the text editing tools, much like the Word facilities. There’s a whole set of graphics tools on the sidebar. These include various shapes that can be used besides OLE objects that can be imported.

The printer module helps organizing the labels for printing. It has the tools for editing the data items arranged in a table. Data items related to each label are organized in columns. Page layouts can be carried out. One can specify how many labels to be printed on a page depending on the sticky page label sheet used for printing.
